The Online Seminar Group: Medieval Wales and the Marches

The Mortimer History Society has worked in partnership with staff from Chester, Swansea and Bristol Universities to create an Online Seminar Group: Medieval Wales and the Marches. The purpose of the seminar group is to provide a cross-disciplinary forum in which academics and scholars can share research papers to stimulate discussion and receive feedback from their peers. The seminar group has over 170 members reflecting interests in the archaeology, culture, linguistic and literary heritage, legal, socal, religious, economic, and political history of medieval Wales and the Marches. It also brings together experienced academics, early career scholars, doctoral students, and independent scholars. The seminar group will provide an important forum for students and early career scholars to share their research across a wider community.
